Job summary

Aristocrat is seeking a senior leader to own the global Accounts Payable function, directing strategy, governance, and performance across regions and shared services. You will define a multi-year AP roadmap and establish a robust operating model with clear metrics and controls.

You will lead regional AP teams, drive automation and process standardization, and partner with Finance, Procurement, Treasury, Tax, and Technology to align enterprise priorities and transform Source-to-Pay capabilities.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Source-to-Pay.
• Experience directing global or regional AP teams.
• Experience in global shared-service or matrixed environments.
• Knowledge of Source-to-Pay workflows and controls.
• Experience leading transformation and automation initiatives.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, Treasury, Tax, Technology.

Responsibilities

• Own and direct the global Accounts Payable function across regions and SSC operations, with enterprise-wide responsibility for AP strategy, governance, service delivery, controls, and performance.
• Define and implement the global AP strategy and multi-year roadmap aligned with Finance and Source-to-Pay priorities.
• Establish the global AP operating model, governance framework, service standards, metrics, and performance expectations across regions and units.
• Provide strategic leadership to regional AP managers and teams to ensure reliable delivery.
• Advance consistency and scalability across global AP processes and frameworks.
• Advise Finance on AP strategy, transformation priorities, organizational build, risk, controls, and investment decisions.
• Maintain timely and accurate invoice processing and payment execution; improve cycle times and accuracy.
• Establish robust financial controls and audit preparedness throughout global AP operations.
• Lead continuous improvement across Source-to-Pay processes to raise efficiency and supplier experience.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Treasury, Tax, Technology on enterprise priorities and transformation initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional transformation spanning AP, Procurement Ops, supplier mgmt, and ERP/workflow tech.
• Drive alignment with Procurement on PO quality, onboarding, invoice matching, and governance.

What You'll Do

• Own and direct the global Accounts Payable function across business units, regions, and shared service operations, holding enterprise-wide responsibility for AP strategy, governance, service delivery, controls, and performance.

• Serve as the senior AP leader responsible for advising Finance leadership on AP strategy, transformation priorities, organizational build, risk, controls, and investment decisions.
• Maintain enterprise accountability for timely and accurate invoice processing and payment execution, including improvements in invoice cycle times, payment accuracy, and exception management.
• Establish and maintain robust financial controls, adherence, and audit preparedness throughout global AP operations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that improve operational efficiency, service quality, and the overall employee and supplier experience.
• Provide strategic leadership throughout the entire Source-to-Pay process, collaborating with Procurement, Finance, Treasury, Tax, Technology, and business leaders to set enterprise priorities, governance, and transformation initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives spanning AP, Procurement Operations, supplier management, payment operations, ERP and workflow technology, and financial controls.
• Drive alignment with Procurement Operations on PO quality, supplier onboarding, invoice matching, workflow optimization, data integrity, and operational governance.

What We're Looking For

• Over 10 years of experience in Accounts Payable, shared services, finance operations, or related Source-to-Pay functions.
• Over 5 years of experience directing global or regional AP teams, with responsibility for managers or distributed teams.
• Proven experience managing or directing enterprise-wide AP strategy, governance, operating models, and performance.
• Experience operating in a global shared-service or highly matrixed environment.
• Solid knowledge of complete Source-to-Pay workflows, AP operational controls, adherence to regulations, and risk oversight.
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale operational transformation, process standardization, automation, and organizational change.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior collaborators across Finance, Procurement, Treasury, Tax, Technology, and business functions.
• Strong strategic, analytical, and financial competence, with the ability to translate operational metrics and insights into enterprise priorities and decisions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Experience with ERP, workflow, invoice automation, analytics, and AI-enabled finance technologies.
• Experience leading operational transitions, shared-service evolution, or organizational redesign initiatives.
