Job summary

Policybazaar.com in Gurugram is seeking a Chartered Accountant with direct tax expertise to manage withholding tax, income tax returns, and tax compliance for our enterprise operations. You will work with internal teams and external consultants to ensure accurate tax filings and timely responses to notices.

The role requires CA with 2+ years direct tax experience or semi-qualified CA with 5+ years, and a strong grasp of direct tax laws, 26AS reconciliations, and process automations.

• Experience in 26AS Reconciliations and process automations.

Responsibilities

• Handle withholding tax compliances.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external consultants.

Job Description:

Qualification & experience:

• Qualified CA with 2+ years of direct tax experience, or
• Semi-qualified CA with 5+ years of direct tax experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling all the withholding tax compliances.
• Prepare and review income tax returns and other applicable direct tax compliances.
• Handling the assessments/CIT(Appeals) notices which include preparation and review of the notices.
• Managing tax audits and responding to other income tax notices.
• Coordinating with internal stakeholders and external consultants.
• Having a basic understanding of transfer pricing and benchmarking.
• Having experience in 26AS Reconciliations and process automations.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of income tax laws and related compliance requirements.
