Job summary

Mailercloud is seeking an Outreach Specialist to grow our presence through targeted outreach from our Kozhikode office. You will identify the right websites, creators and partners, craft outreach messages, and drive backlinks, reviews or recommendations to raise visibility.

The role requires 1–3 years in link building, blogger or influencer outreach, or affiliate marketing, and strong written English for daily US/UK outreach. It is an on-site position reporting to the Marketing Director.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on outreach work: link building, blogger or influencer outreach, or affiliate marketing.
• Strong written English with daily outreach to US/UK contacts.
• Confident in contacting new people and persistent in follow-ups.
• Organised, able to handle many conversations at once.
• Familiarity with AI tools or willingness to learn.
• Degree in any subject or equivalent practical experience.
• Fixed monthly salary plus incentive tied to backlinks and partners won.
• Experience across the full digital marketing mix in one role.
• Direct work with the founders of a growing software company.

Responsibilities

• Win backlinks from relevant websites and blogs (link building and off-page SEO).
• Get Mailercloud featured by YouTubers, bloggers and software review sites.
• Recruit and manage affiliate partners, and keep them active.
• Research and build target lists, then contact 20 to 30 new prospects a day by email and LinkedIn.
• Follow up, negotiate placements and keep a clear record of every conversation.
• Report each month on links won, features published and partners signed.
• Support the team on SEO, Google and Meta ads, social media and visibility in AI search tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI.

About Mailercloud

Mailercloud is a UK-headquartered email marketing platform used by businesses in the US, UK and India. Our India team works from Cyberpark, Kozhikode. Our marketing team is small and moves fast, and you will work directly with the founders.

The role

Your main job is to grow Mailercloud through outreach. You will find the right websites, creators and partners, write to them, and follow up until Mailercloud is linked, reviewed or recommended. About 70% of your time is outreach. The other 30% is hands-on work across the rest of our marketing, so you learn how every channel connects to revenue.

Requirements

• A fixed monthly salary plus a monthly incentive tied to the backlinks and partnerships you win.
  
• Experience across the full digital marketing mix in one role, which usually takes years at an agency.
