nxtwave is a San Francisco-based design and technology company seeking a remote UI/UX designer to join early in our growth. You will work directly with the founder and international clients to elevate websites, marketing campaigns, and digital assets.

• Work directly with clients to understand requirements, communicate progress, and manage revisions.
• Research competitors and industry trends to bring fresh ideas to the table.
• Use AI tools to improve productivity, content creation, design quality, and internal workflows.
• Collaborate with developers for website updates.

nxtwave — Remote · Contract to start, with room to grow into a full-time role

nxtwave is a San Francisco-based digital design and technology company that helps businesses improve how they present themselves online through thoughtful design, modern websites, AI, and digital solutions.

We're building a small team of people who enjoy solving problems, learning new technologies, and taking ownership of their work. As one of our first hires, you'll work directly with the founder, collaborate with international clients, and play an important role in shaping the future of the company.

We're looking for someone who enjoys creating great work, takes initiative, and genuinely cares about helping clients succeed.

About the Role

This role is much more than creating graphics.

You'll work closely with our clients on a daily basis, helping them maintain their websites, create marketing campaigns, design digital assets, and strengthen their overall online presence.

A large part of your work will involve supporting real estate developers by creating marketing material for new project launches, social media campaigns, brochures, landing pages, and website updates.

We're looking for someone who doesn't simply wait for instructions. If you see an opportunity to improve a website, suggest a campaign, create content around an upcoming event, or make a client's digital presence stronger, we want you to speak up.

Our clients should feel like you're part of their own team, not simply someone completing design requests.

What You'll be Doing

• Design high-quality social media posts, advertisements, brochures, presentations, banners, and other marketing material.


• Create marketing assets for residential and commercial real estate projects, including launches, campaigns, brochures, floor plans, and digital advertisements.


• Keep client websites updated with new projects, content, landing pages, images, and visual improvements.


• Work directly with clients to understand requirements, communicate progress, and manage revisions.


• Take ownership of projects from the initial brief through final delivery.


• Suggest new content ideas, campaigns, website improvements, and creative opportunities.


• Research competitors and industry trends to bring fresh ideas to the table.


• Use AI tools to improve productivity, content creation, design quality, and internal workflows.


• Explore new AI tools and recommend ways they can improve both client work and nxtwave's operations.


• Work alongside developers whenever website enhancements or technical updates are required.


• Keep projects organized and delivered on schedule.

Required Skills

• Adobe Illustrator

• Strong understanding of typography, layout, branding, color, and visual hierarchy.


• Excellent written and spoken English.


• Experience creating digital marketing and social media content.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with real estate developers, brokerages, or property marketing.


• Experience designing for premium or luxury brands.


• WordPress or another CMS.


• Basic HTML/CSS.


• UI/UX experience.


• Motion graphics or short-form video editing.


• Experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Cursor, Canva AI, or similar.


• Experience working with international clients
