Dialysis Technician supports dialysis services by preparing, operating, and maintaining dialysis equipment and treatment areas under appropriate clinical supervision. The includes machine preparation, technical assistance during treatment, equipment monitoring, infection control, consumable management, and accurate documentation.

• Prepare dialysis machines and treatment stations before procedures.
• Check dialysis equipment for proper functioning and readiness.
• Prepare dialyzers, tubing, fluids, and other required consumables.
• Assist nursing and medical staff in preparing patients for dialysis.
• Perform assigned technical dialysis activities according to SOPs.
• Assist with machine setup, priming, and post-treatment procedures as trained.
• Monitor dialysis machine parameters during treatment.
• Report equipment abnormalities or patient-related concerns promptly.
• Clean and disinfect dialysis equipment and treatment areas.
• Follow infection-control and aseptic practices.
• Maintain accurate dialysis treatment and equipment records.
• Monitor availability of dialysis consumables and supplies.
• Report equipment faults and coordinate maintenance when required.
• Handle biomedical waste according to established procedures.
