Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a DevSecOps Platform & Tooling Engineer to ensure stable, secure, and efficient operation of the DevSecOps tooling ecosystem. You will empower teams to deliver high-quality software through standardized, integrated, and governed platforms.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, deep tooling expertise, and hands-on administration of Atlassian, GitHub, JFrog, SonarCloud, and New Relic. You will join a team focused on continuous improvement across the toolchain and security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's in CS or related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering or related fields.
• Strong DevSecOps tooling expertise with continuous improvement mindset.
• Hands-on experience managing enterprise tools such as Atlassian Jira/Confluence, GitHub, JFrog, SonarCloud, and New Relic.
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation, integrations, and tool c.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support DevSecOps tools (Atlassian, GitHub, GitHub Copilot, JFrog Artifactory, SonarCloud, New Relic, test automation tools).
• Troubleshoot and resolve L2/L3 issues across tools, pipelines, and integrations.
• Manage user access, permissions, and licenses across the toolchain.
• Enhance tool integrations for end-to-end DevSecOps workflows.
• Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines and execution environments (runners, agents, builds).
• Ensure repo, artifact, and code quality governance (branching, PR reviews, quality rules).
• Maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident support capabilities.
• Support test automation platforms and execution infrastructure.
• Enable developer productivity tools and environments (IDE support, plugins, integrations).
• Enforce and evolve security, compliance, and governance standards.
• Maintain and support on-premise platforms (e.g., Bitbucket, Bamboo) where applicable.

• Hands-on experience managing enterprise tools such as Atlassian (Jira/Confluence), GitHub, JFrog, SonarCloud, and New Relic
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, PowerShell, Python, Groovy) for automation, integrations, and tool c
