Job summary

BoostUp is seeking a senior DevSecOps Engineer to embed security across CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure provisioning. The role focuses on cloud security, IaC, and secure SDLC practices.

The ideal candidate will design secure pipelines, implement testing tools, and coordinate with multiple teams to strengthen overall security posture in a cloud-first environment.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering or DevSecOps.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
• Knowledge of Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning and secrets management.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate security testing tools into development and deployment workflows.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools.
• Manage cloud security configurations across AWS, Azure or GCP.

• Collaborate with development, cloud, infrastructure and security teams.
• Monitor security events and continuously improve automation and controls.

Required Skills

• 6–10 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering or DevSecOps.

• Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2 or other security compliance frameworks is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field preferred. Relevant cloud or security certifications are an advantage.
