Job summary

Cerebra IT Services is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer for a contract-to-hire role in Pune. The candidate should bring 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud platforms, and automation to streamline deployment pipelines.

You will work with GCP, Terraform/Ansible, CI/CD tools, and containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes, while maintaining Linux systems and scripting for automation. Immediate joining preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps/Cloud experience (preferred).
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Proficient in Python or Shell scripting for automation.
• Expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform/Ansible).
• Experience with CI/CD practices and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
• Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Linux/Unix administration knowledge.

Role: DevOps Engineer
Experience: 6+ years

Location:PUNE

Proven experience (e.g., 5+ years) as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or in a similar role.

Cloud Platform: Strong hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (e.g., GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub).

Scripting Proficiency: Proficiency in scripting languages, specifically Python or Shell scripting (Bash), for automation and development of custom utilities.

IaC Tools: Expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.

CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Circle CI).

Container Technologies: Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Operating Systems: Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
