Job summary

Sutherland Global Services is seeking an experienced AWS Infrastructure/DevOps engineer to support agent services. You will manage VPCs, Fargate clusters, SNS/SQS, DynamoDB, S3, and IAM, while integrating Graph API and Teams-related workflows.

The role emphasizes secure, audit-ready operations in a regulated environment and requires collaboration with IT/security and cross-site teams to ensure resilience and reliable message processing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years AWS infrastructure/DevOps experience including Fargate and VPC design.
• 4+ years with Microsoft Graph API, Teams bot/app development, or M365 integration.
• Experience with pub/sub architectures (SNS/SQS).
• Experience operating infrastructure for a regulated client (audit logging, least-privilege access, data residency awareness).
• Prior work integrating a Microsoft-side collaboration layer with an AWS-hosted backend is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Stand up and maintain the internal-access VPC hosting notification/callback infrastructure.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code for repeatable deployment across new builds as they mobilise.
• Own monitoring/observability and alerting for exactly-once processing guarantees.
• Coordinate environment access and security sign-off with IT/security ahead of each pilot — regulatory sign-off may gate certain pilots.
• Support multi-site delivery continuity from an infrastructure resilience perspective.
• Integration: Build and maintain Graph API subscriptions for chat and mail event notification, including subscription renewal.
• Implement message/file download and delivery flows (attachments in, processed files out) via a callback consumer pattern.
• Ensure resilience of the notification pipeline (FIFO queue partitioning, deduplication).
• Coordinate with workflow/orchestration tooling teams on integration boundaries to avoid duplicating ownership.

Role Summary

Provisions and operates the AWS environment underpinning all agent services VPC, Fargate clusters, messaging (SNS/SQS), storage (DynamoDB, S3), and monitoring while owning the Teams/Graph API integration layer that agent services depend on for message ingestion, file handling, and output delivery.

• 5+ years AWS infrastructure/DevOps experience: Fargate, VPC design, SNS/SQS, DynamoDB, S3, IAM.
• 4+ years experience with Microsoft Graph API, Teams bot/app development, or M365 integration engineering.
• Experience with pub/sub and queue-based architectures (SNS/SQS or equivalent).
• Experience operating infrastructure for a regulated client (audit logging, least-privilege access, data residency awareness).
• Prior work integrating a Microsoft-side collaboration layer with an AWS-hosted backend is a strong plus.
• Comfortable working within a client-owned AWS account rather than a vendor's own tenancy.
