Build reusable automation frameworks to standardize provisioning, configuration, and patching processes. Optimize existing Ansible scripts and convert manual processes into automated pipelines. Implement automated compliance, drift detection, and self-healing mechanisms where feasible. DevOps Engineering Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as VS Code, Azure DevOps or GitHub. Manage end-to-end release automation, branch strategies, artifact management, and deployment orchestration. Work closely with Development, QA, and Cloud teams to ensure reliable, fast, and secure software delivery. Integrate security controls into DevOps workflows. Cloud & Infrastructure Operations Support infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools such as Ansible Automation Platform (AAP). Manage deployments across hybrid cloud/on-prem environments (Azure, Windows, Linux-based systems). Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions for automated environments. SQL Engineering & SME-Level Expertise Serve as the subject matter expert for SQL performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, partitioning, and data modelling. Automate database deployment and maintenance tasks, including schema updates, replication setup, and backup routines. Troubleshoot complex SQL-related issues and support application teams with optimized data access patterns. Develop automation to support DB upgrades, migrations, and baseline enforcement. Collaboration, Governance & Best Practices Partner with architecture, security, and delivery teams to define automation standards and reusable templates. Promote and enforce best practices in DevOps, SQL engineering, and infrastructure automation. Maintain detailed technical documentation, SOPs, and runbooks. Provide mentorship to junior engineers and support cross-team technical enablement.
