DevOps Engineer
About NV
At NV, we are at the forefront of developing Voice AI solutions tailored for Indic languages, driving growth and innovation for large enterprises.
We build real-time voice AI systems that power critical customer interactions for leading enterprises. Our stack is built for low-latency, high-throughput workloads and is deployed both in our cloud and on customer infrastructure. As we scale, we are investing in the infrastructure, delivery pipelines, and operational discipline that keep those systems fast, secure, and affordable to run.
Core Responsibilities
- Own CI/CD end to end. You''''ll build and maintain Jenkins pipelines for build, test, and image publishing, and run GitOps-based delivery into Kubernetes with ArgoCD, including safe rollouts and fast rollbacks.
- Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform across AWS, Azure, and GCP, so environments are reproducible and every change is reviewable before it lands.
- Run Kubernetes in production. EKS and AKS clusters, Helm-based deployments, autoscaling, resource tuning, and cluster upgrades that customers never notice.
- Own observability on SigNoz and OpenTelemetry. Instrument services for metrics, logs, and traces and set SLOs that reflect real user experience.
- Package and deploy into customer-controlled environments. Repeatable on-prem and private cloud installs, clean upgrade paths, and support for restricted or air-gapped networks.
- Manage cloud cost and capacity with spend visibility, right-sizing, and capacity planning ahead of enterprise rollouts.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 2+ years in DevOps or SRE, with production systems you were personally responsible for keeping up.
- Strong Linux fundamentals and real networking knowledge: DNS, TLS, load balancing, VPCs, subnets, routing, and firewall rules.
- Genuine depth with at least one hyperscaler (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong in Python and Bash, and fluent with Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
- Hands-on infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform and/or Ansible.
- Experience owning a CI/CD system, not just using one. We run Jenkins and ArgoCD equivalent depth with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Flux counts.
- A working security instinct. You think about blast radius, credentials, and access paths before you ship.
Nice-to-Have
- Multi-cloud or hybrid experience, including workloads that span cloud and on-prem.
- Depth in OpenTelemetry instrumentation, or with SigNoz, Prometheus, Grafana, or Loki.
- Experience deploying into air-gapped, restricted, or customer-managed environments.
- Operating latency-sensitive systems where p99 is the number that matters.
- Familiarity with regulated environments: RBI outsourcing guidelines, CERT-In, DPDP Act, ISO 27001, or SOC 2.
- Prior experience working within the BFSI domain.
What You''''ll Get
- Autonomy to shape the infrastructure and delivery platform behind mission-critical voice applications.
- Real ownership of production. You''''ll define how we deploy, monitor, and recover.
- Direct collaboration with the ML and engineering teams on systems that thousands of live conversations rely on every day.
- Fully remote culture, competitive salary, unlimited leaves.
