Job Brief

As a DevOps Engineer II, you’ll help build, automate, and improve the cloud infrastructure and software delivery capabilities that power Advisor360°’s platform. You’ll work alongside software engineers, architects, security teams, and product teams to create scalable CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native infrastructure, and internal platform capabilities. You’ll also explore practical ways to use AI-assisted automation to improve developer productivity, platform reliability, troubleshooting, and software delivery.

Here’s What You’ll Do

  • Provision, configure, and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code technologies such as Terraform, Bicep, or similar tools.
  • Build and maintain internal platform capabilities, reusable deployment patterns, and repository templates that help engineering teams deliver software consistently and independently.
  • Support containerized and cloud-native workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Container Apps, and related Azure services.
  • Develop scripts, tools, and automation workflows using Python, Bash, PowerShell, APIs, and AI-assisted development frameworks to reduce repetitive manual work and operational toil.
  • Build AI-assisted automation to support software delivery, analyze deployment failures, improve troubleshooting, and help engineering teams make better operational decisions.
  • Partner with software engineers, architects, security teams, and product teams to improve build, testing, deployment, release, and operational processes.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, CI/CD, networking, deployment, configuration, and runtime issues across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Improve platform reliability through monitoring, observability, alerting, health checks, capacity management, and automated remediation.
  • Apply secure-by-default engineering practices by integrating vulnerability scanning, secrets detection, access controls, policy enforcement, and compliance checks into delivery workflows.
  • Use AI and data-driven techniques to assist with deployment risk analysis, incident investigation, log summarization, root-cause identification, and operational recommendations.
  • Define and track engineering metrics such as deployment frequency, lead time, failure rate, recovery time, platform reliability, and developer experience.
  • Evaluate emerging AI, cloud, and DevOps technologies and identify practical opportunities to improve engineering productivity and software delivery.
  • Maintain high-quality technical documentation, architecture guidance, operational procedures, and reusable engineering knowledge.
  • Participate in production support and on-call rotations, contribute to incident response, and turn lessons learned into lasting platform improvements.
  • Promote a culture of experimentation, automation, continuous learning, and responsible use of AI across software delivery and operations.
