Job summary

Thinkproject is seeking a DevOps engineer to develop and maintain engineering and cloud infrastructure, including automation pipelines and IaC. You will ensure platforms support Thinkproject processes, with responsibilities spanning CI/CD, monitoring, security, and collaboration with developers.

The role requires 2+ years in DevOps, proficiency with Azure/AWS, containers, scripting, and strong agile skills. Hybrid work setup offered, with opportunities for growth and learning.

Qualifications

What your day will look like

Mission

Develop and maintain the engineering and cloud infrastructure and automation infrastructure such asCI/CD pipelines, IaC code, etc. Accompaniment and optimisation of software products fromdevelopment to implementation and maintenance. Responsible for ensuring that the softwareplatforms optimally support Thinkproject and its processes.

Main responsibilities

• Automation: Design and implement secure automated deployment processes; implement andmaintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like AzureDevOps, Jenkins etc. to enhance software delivery speed and reliability.Participate in designing, building, and managing scalable cloud development usingInfrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Ansible, Terraform, etc. to provision and manageinfrastructure resources.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to infrastructure,applications, and deployments.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, configurations, andperformance metrics to support knowledge sharing and compliance.
• Monitoring and Maintenance: Participate in implementing and maintaining the monitoring,logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and reliability of systems, troubleshootissues, and conduct diagnostic testing to maintain operational integrity.
• Collaboration: Work closely with software developers and other IT professionals to automateand streamline operations and processes. Contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Security: Implement automated security checks in pipelines, ensure compliance with securityand regulatory requirements. Participate in periodic system audits and preparedness forpossible recovery actions. Participate in resolving the issue related to pen testing, vulnerabilityscanning, and intrusion detection etc. Participate in completion of security team defined tasksand initiatives.

What you need to fulfill the role

Experience(technical / leadership)

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps engineering and collaboration.
• Experience with security and compliance frameworks.

Technical Skills

• Hands on skills with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps / Jenkins etc.
• Good understanding in cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Good understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Handson skills with Cloud CLI & scripting languages (Poweshell, bash etc.)
• Excellent understanding about agile methodologies and version control systems (Git).
• Ability to design and implement CI/CD pipelines for applications developed in various programming languages such as Dot Net, Java, Python etc.
• Ability to participate in scrum ceremonies, accurately maintain the task board and follow the applicable agile processes.

Soft skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication ability to collaborate with people from various cultural backgrounds

Education

• Required: Microsoft AZ-400 Certification
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
