Job summary

LANDMARK GROUP seeks an experienced DevOps Architect to lead AKS modernization in Bengaluru. Architect, design, and implement enterprise-grade AKS clusters with multi-environment strategies and migrate legacy apps to containerized workloads on AKS.

You will establish governance, CI/CD pipelines, IaC, security, observability, and disaster-recovery strategies while mentoring engineers and collaborating with development teams to optimize cloud-native architectures.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of DevOps/AKS experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Strong scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python, Go.

Responsibilities

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement enterprise-grade AKS clusters with multi-environment strategies (dev, staging, production)
• Lead the migration of legacy applications to containerized workloads on AKS
• Design and implement advanced networking solutions including service mesh, Nginx ingress controllers, and network policies
• Establish AKS governance frameworks, resource quotas, and namespace strategies
• Implement advanced AKS features including pod identity, cluster autoscaler, and virtual nodes
• Design and implement comprehensive CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins
• Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform and ARM templates
• Design and manage artifact repositories and container registries with security scanning
• Develop and manage Helm charts for Kubernetes application packaging and deployments.
• Build self-service platforms and developer tooling to accelerate application delivery
• Implement comprehensive observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
• Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for containerized workloads
• Automate operational tasks including backup strategies, patch management, and capacity planning
• Implement comprehensive security frameworks including Pod Security Standards, network policies, and admission controllers
• Mentor DevOps engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application architecture for cloud-native environments
• Lead architectural reviews and provide recommendations for system improvements
• 5-10 years of DevOps/AKS experience with strong focus on containerization and orchestration
• Expert-level proficiency in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Kubernetes ecosystem
• experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM templates)
• hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub)
• understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, containerd, CRI-O)
• Proficient in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Go)
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native design patterns
