Job Description

Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled DevOpsEngineer to join the expanding platform engineering team in pune. This rolefocuses on architecting, maintaining, and scaling continuous integration anddeployment pipelines to support mission-critical infrastructure and applicationdelivery. The ideal candidate will possess deep, administrative-level expertisein Git and Jenkins, paired with strong coding proficiency in Python and Shellto drive comprehensive workflow automation and support ongoing cloud suite operations.

Key Responsibilities

• CI/CD PipelineArchitecture: Design, build, and optimize complex Jenkins pipelines from scratch,leveraging advanced features (e.g., Jenkins Shared Libraries) tostandardize enterprise build and release processes.
  
• Version ControlManagement: Administer Git workflows, enforce optimal branching and merging strategies(GitFlow, trunk-based development), and resolve complex merge conflictsfor distributed engineering teams.
  
• Workflow Automation: Develop, test, andmaintain robust, production-grade automation scripts using Python andShell to eliminate manual operational tasks and streamline deploymentworkflows.
  
• Platform Integration: Collaborate closelywith development and infrastructure teams to integrate CI/CD processeswith cloud platforms, monitoring tools, and metadata enrichment pipelines.
  
• Performance &Reliability: Proactively identify pipeline bottlenecks, troubleshoot build failures,and implement monitoring to ensure high availability and rapid executionof deployment cycles.
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of dedicatedexperience in DevOps, Build/Release Engineering, or Platform Automation.
  
• Version Control: Expert-level command ofGit, including repository administration, webhook integrations, and GitOpsbest practices.
  
• CI/CD Systems: Deep, hands-onexperience configuring and scaling Jenkins environments as anadministrator.
  
• Scripting &Development: Solid, demonstrable proficiency in Python (e.g., interacting with APIs,data parsing) and advanced Shell (Bash) scripting.
  
• OS & Environment: Strong Linux/Unixsystem administration skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experiencesupporting cloud migration initiatives or operating within OCI (OracleCloud Infrastructure) environments.
  
• Familiarity withcontainerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) andinfrastructure-as-code tools.
