Job summary

Qloron Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Azure cloud platforms. You will design, deploy, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and Azure infrastructure across services such as Data Factory and Databricks.

The role requires collaboration across development and operations teams to optimize performance and ensure robust security. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Azure infrastructure management experience, scripting skills, and a solid understanding of security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in CS, IT or EE
• 3+ years of Azure infra management and DevOps experience
• Proficient scripting in PowerShell or Python
• Strong knowledge of Azure services: Data Factory, Databricks, Key Vault
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD
• Familiarity with IaC: Terraform, ARM templates

Technical Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools for automated deployment and continuous integration.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or ARM templates to automate provisioning and configuration of Azure resources.
• Drive adoption of DevOps culture and practices within the organization, including collaboration between development and operations teams.
• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure infrastructure components to support our applications and services.
• Architect scalable and resilient Azure solutions that meet performance and reliability requirements.
• Set up and configure Azure services such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks to support data processing and analytics workflows.
• Manage Azure Key Vault for secure storage and management of cryptographic keys and secrets.
• Implement and maintain Azure Service Principals for secure access management.
• Implement security best practices and policies in Azure environments to ensure data protection and compliance.
• Monitor and mitigate security vulnerabilities and threats in Azure infrastructure and services.
• Collaborate with security teams to conduct regular audits and assessments of Azure environments.
• Set up monitoring and logging solutions in Azure to track performance metrics and diagnose issues.
• Analyze performance bottlenecks and optimize Azure infrastructure and services for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate DevOps practices into the Azure infrastructure deployment process.
• Stay updated on Azure services, features, and best practices, and provide recommendations for improving our Azure infrastructure.
• Configure and manage storage accounts, including blob storage, queues, and file storage, to support various applications and workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in CS, IT or EE
• Extensive experience working as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Azure cloud platform.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Key Vault.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
• Solid understanding of security principles and best practices for Azure environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
• 3+ years of experience in Azure infrastructure management (VNET, Storage Account, compute, Backup, Azure Stack, AVS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Key Vault, and Service Principals)
• Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Azure monitoring and logging tools for maintaining oversight of infrastructure performance and security.
• Ability to quickly learn new platforms, languages, tools, and techniques as needed to meet project requirements.
• Self-motivated and directed, with strong attention to detail.
