Job summary

ITLabz Technology in India is seeking a DevOps/SRE engineer to own end-to-end delivery from merged pull requests to running software, making deployments boring and incidents short. You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines across client projects, run Kubernetes (AKS) clusters, and codify infrastructure with Terraform or Bicep while embedding observability and security into the pipeline.

Strong Azure expertise and scripting ability are essential, with four+ years in DevOps/SRE or platform

Qualifications

• Four or more years in DevOps, SRE or platform engineering.
• Real Kubernetes experience, including debugging a cluster under load.
• Strong Azure, Terraform and at least one scripting language.
• Understand that a pipeline nobody trusts is worse than no pipeline.

Job description

Own CI/CD, Kubernetes and observability across client platforms.

You will own the path from a merged pull request to running software, and the ability to know what happened afterwards. The measure is that deploys are boring, incidents are short, and nobody is afraid to ship on a Friday.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions across client projects
• Run Kubernetes and container platforms — AKS primarily — including the parts nobody enjoys
• Write infrastructure as code in Terraform or Bicep; no environment configured by hand
• Own observability: metrics, logs, traces and alerts that fire on symptoms rather than noise
• Baseline and improve DORA metrics — lead time, deploy frequency, change-failure rate, restore time
• Build security into the pipeline: dependency and secrets scanning, least-privilege access, signed artifacts

What we're looking for

• Four or more years in DevOps, SRE or platform engineering
• Real Kubernetes experience, including debugging a cluster under load at an inconvenient hour
• Strong Azure, Terraform and at least one scripting language
• Understand that a pipeline nobody trusts is worse than no pipeline
