Job summary

True Balance seeks an experienced DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer to own cloud infrastructure design and operations for production and non-production environments in Gurugram. You will manage Kubernetes (EKS), implement Terraform-based IaC, and drive CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions to enable frequent deployments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on DevOps/Infrastructure engineering experience.
• Deep AWS expertise with EKS, EC2, RDS, VPC Transit Gateway, IAM, CloudTrail.
• Expert-level Kubernetes including cluster architecture, multi-tenancy and upgrades.
• Expert-level Terraform including state management and CI/CD integration.
• Strong observability background with Prometheus, Grafana, logs (ELK) and tracing.
• Experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
• Scripting in Bash and Python.
• Knowledge of NBFC/PCI-DSS or regulatory compliance requirements.
• Automation, IaC, ArgoCD, Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure for prod and non-prod.
• Manage EKS clusters for containerised microservices including scaling and upgrades.
• Implement IaC using Terraform and Ansible for repeatable deployments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) enabling multiple deployments daily.
• Standardise Docker builds and image scanning.
• Ensure infrastructure compliance with security guidelines.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation with security.
• Set up end-to-end observability with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and alerting.
• Lead post-incident reviews and drive reliability improvements.

Job Description:

• Minimum 8+ years of hands-on DevOps /infrastructure engineering experience.
• Deep AWS expertise — proven architecture experience with EKS, EC2, RDS, VPC Transit Gateway, IAM (IRSA, SCPs, permission boundaries), CloudTrail,
• Expert-level Kubernetes — cluster architecture, multi-tenancy, upgrade strategy, service mesh and deep troubleshooting.
• Expert-level Terraform — module design patterns, state management at scale, workspace strategy, and CI/CD integration.
• Strong observability engineering background — Prometheus, alerting, Grafana, distributed tracing (OpenTelemetry), and log aggregation (Loki or ELK).
• Sonarqube, version-controlled infrastructure workflows.
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• Solid scripting skills in Bash and Python.
• Experience with monitoring stacks: Prometheus + Grafana, ELK.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals: DNS, TLS/SSL, load balancing, VPN, firewall rules.
• Working knowledge of NBFC/PCI-DSS or other financial regulatory compliance requirements.
• Automation, IaC, ArgoCD, ansible.

Good to Have

• Experience with service mesh technologies (like Istio, Linkerd).
• Familiarity with GitOps workflows.
• Knowledge of database operations: PostgreSQL, MySQL, kafka, Redis clustering and backup strategies.
• Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect/DevOps Professional.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Design, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS for production and non-production environments.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS) for containerised microservices; handle scaling, upgrades, and node lifecycle.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Ansible for repeatable, auditable deployments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions,) enabling multiple deployments per day
• Standardise Docker container builds and image scanning via tools like Trivy or Snyk.
• Ensure infrastructure compliance with Security guidelines.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and drive remediation in collaboration with the security team
• Set up end-to-end observability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack,zabbix,configure alerting.
• Lead post-incident reviews, produce RCAs, and drive systematic reliability improvements.

Required Experience:

• 8+ years of hands-on DevOps/Infrastructure engineering experience

Education:

• B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Equivalent work experience with demonstrable technical depth will be considered.
