Zusammenfassung

Carrerlift is seeking a Platform/DevOps engineer to build and run scalable production systems. You will collaborate with the infrastructure and platform teams to automate deployments, provisioning, and operational tasks to enhance stability.

You will design infrastructure with Terraform, manage Kubernetes workloads, and implement GitOps using Argo CD. You will also set up monitoring with Grafana and log analytics with Elasticsearch and Kibana to improve reliability.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with AWS cloud services in production environments.
• Hands-on Kubernetes orchestration and management.
• Ability to write and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Familiarity with Argo CD and GitOps principles for deployment automation.
• Experience building monitoring/observability with modern tools.
• Ownership of system reliability and production incident response.

About the role:

• Work with the infrastructure and platform team to build and maintain production systems that scale reliably.
• Automate deployments, provisioning, and operational tasks to reduce manual overhead and improve system stability.
• Own the reliability and performance of production environments, taking accountability for incident response and resolution.

What you'll work on:

• Design and deploy infrastructure using Terraform to codify your infrastructure decisions and keep them version-controlled.
• Manage containerized workloads on Kubernetes clusters, ensuring applications run efficiently across environments.
• Implement GitOps workflows using Git and Argo CD to keep your deployments declarative and auditable.
• Set up comprehensive monitoring and alerting with Grafana to track system health and catch issues early.
• Configure log aggregation and analysis using Elasticsearch and Kibana to troubleshoot problems and understand system behavior.
• Lead incident management efforts, coordinating response and driving post-incident improvements.

What we're looking for:

• Demonstrated experience working with AWS cloud services in production environments.
