Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Ansible automation, Windows and Linux server administration, application deployment, and production migration. The ideal candidate should have experience deploying and troubleshooting PHP applications, .NET applications, and REST APIs, along with expertise in CI/CD pipelines, web servers, database connectivity, and production release management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories, variables, and Jinja2 templates for server configuration and application deployment.
• Automate application deployment and configuration management across Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot PHP 7/8 applications, Composer dependencies, REST APIs, .NET Framework applications, .NET 6+, and ASP.NET Core APIs.
• Configure and manage IIS, Apache HTTP Server, and Nginx, including reverse proxies, application pools, and SSL/TLS certificates.
• Support application integration with Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL, including connectivity, authentication, and schema deployment coordination.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or equivalent tools.
• Manage application artifacts, environment-specific configurations, deployment approvals, validation, and rollback procedures.
• Support production application migrations, cutover activities, post-deployment stabilization, and incident resolution.
• Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, networking, and database connectivity issues.
• Use PowerShell and Bash/Shell scripting to automate operational activities.
• Follow security best practices, including secrets management, service accounts, least-privilege access, and server hardening.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, security, database, development, QA, and application-support teams.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Ansible Automation: Playbooks, roles, inventories, variables, Jinja2 templates, handlers, idempotency, error handling, and secrets integration.
• Operating Systems: Windows Server and enterprise Linux administration.
• Application Deployment: PHP 7/8, Composer, REST APIs, .NET Framework, .NET 6+, ASP.NET Core, and Windows services.
• Web Servers: IIS, Apache HTTP Server, and Nginx.
• Database Technologies: Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL.
• CI/CD: Azure DevOps or equivalent pipeline platforms.
• Scripting: PowerShell, Bash/Shell, YAML, JSON, and Git.
• Networking and Security: DNS, firewalls, ports, proxies, load balancers, SSL/TLS certificates, and service accounts.
• Application Migration: Production deployment, cutover, rollback, and post-migration stabilization.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, systems engineering, application operations, platform engineering, or infrastructure automation.
• Minimum 2 years of practical experience developing and supporting Ansible automation.
• Demonstrated experience deploying and troubleshooting PHP applications and .NET applications or APIs.
• Experience administering both Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Experience supporting production deployments and business-critical application migrations.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications or professional training in Ansible, Linux, Windows Server, Azure, DevOps, or database administration.
• Experience with enterprise application migration projects.
• Familiarity with monitoring, log analysis, root-cause analysis, release management, and production support.
