Job summary

OPT IT is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, and improve reliability and performance. You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage multi-cloud infrastructure, and collaborate with development and security teams in Bengaluru.

Required skills include Linux, Git, Docker, Terraform/Ansible, and strong scripting capabilities. Certifications in AWS/Azure DevOps or Kubernetes are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; AWS/Azure DevOps or Kubernetes certifications are a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Git, CI/CD, Docker and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with scripting, Terraform/Ansible and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Support Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.
• Automate infrastructure and deployments using Terraform, Ansible, or scripting.
• Monitor system performance, logs, alerts, and application availability.
• Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and production issues.
• Implement security, backup, and disaster-recovery best practices.
• Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and security teams.
• Maintain technical documentation and operating procedures.

• Support Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications
• Automate infrastructure and deployments using Terraform, Ansible, or scripting
• Monitor system performance, logs, alerts, and application availability
• Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and production issues
• Implement security, backup, and disaster-recovery best practices
• Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and security teams
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
