Responsibilities

• Assist with cloud infrastructure management across AWS and OCI.

• Contribute to containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes.

DESCRIPTION

As a DevOps Intern, you will work alongside our DevOps engineers to automate, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure. You will gain hands-on experience with cloud environments, CI/CD tools, and DevOps practices while contributing to infrastructure automation, pipeline improvements, and troubleshooting.

Selected Intern's Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Assisting with cloud infrastructure management across AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Supporting the creation, deployment, and testing of applications through CI/CD pipelines
• Automating infrastructure and operational tasks using Bash and Python
• Managing and supporting MySQL and MongoDB databases in cloud environments
• Contributing to application and infrastructure containerisation using Docker and Kubernetes
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
• Monitoring infrastructure and applications using Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack
• Assisting with troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues

Other requirements

• Proficiency in Linux environments such as Ubuntu and CentOS
• Familiarity with AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services such as EC2, S3, and RDS
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
• Scripting experience with Bash and Python
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
