Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform device characterization including IV, CV, DC, and noise measurements.
  • Analyze silicon data and ensure data quality.
  • Extract, validate, and maintain compact device models.
  • Support model QA, verification, and release activities.
  • Collaborate with device, process, characterization, and design teams.
  • Investigate device behavior and discuss model implications.

Location: GIFT City Office near Ahmedabad/Gandhinagar (On-site)

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Device Modeling Engineer with strong fundamentals in Semiconductor Device Physics, Semiconductor Process Technology, Device Characterization, and Compact Device Modeling.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy understanding silicon behavior, analyzing characterization data, and developing accurate compact models for advanced semiconductor technologies. The candidate will work closely with device engineering, process integration, characterization, and technology development teams to support model extraction, validation, and release activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform device characterization including IV, CV, DC, and noise measurements.
  • Analyze silicon measurement data and ensure data quality.
  • Extract, validate, and maintain compact device models.
  • Support model QA, verification, and release activities.
  • Collaborate with device, process, characterization, and design teams.
  • Investigate device behavior and support model-related technical discussions.
Key Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in Device Modeling, Device Characterization, Device Engineering, or Technology Development.
  • Strong understanding of Semiconductor Device Physics.
  • Good knowledge of Semiconductor Process Technology and CMOS fabrication.
  • Hands-on experience with Device Characterization (IV/CV/DC measurements).
  • Experience in Compact Device Modeling, Model Extraction, and Validation.
  • Familiarity with probe stations, parameter analyzers, and characterization equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Python programming experience is a plus.
Preferred Skills
  • MOSFET, LDMOS, Bipolar, or Passive Device Modeling.
  • BSIM, PSP, or SPICE Compact Models.
  • Statistical Variation, Monte Carlo, or Mismatch Modeling.
  • Noise Modeling (1/f, RTN) and Reliability Modeling.
  • Semiconductor Foundry or Technology Development experience.
Education
  • Master's Degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Microelectronics, Semiconductor Technology, Physics, or a related field.
