Qualifications

• Linux/Unix administration: restart services, check logs, manage disk space, cron jobs, SFTP, user accounts, VM migration.
• Database health checks, index management, storage, and basic SQL.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and assist in workshops with client stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver code for modules ensuring proper integration with system components.
• Execute testing and participate in UAT sessions.
• Support implementation and integration for stability.
• Prepare detailed documentation and maintain code comments for clarity.

Summary requirements: Candidate should have strong understanding of telecom mediation systems (CGF, NatRef, RCP NM), production incident management, Linux troubleshooting, change management, and customer-facing operations support.

1. Domain Knowledge: Must have

• Nokia Data Refinery (CGF)
• Offline Charging architecture
• CDR processing (Voice, SMS, Data), ASN decoding
• Charging Gateway Function (CGF)
• Telecom billing concepts
• Mediation workflows concept (Collect → Decode → Process → Encode → Distribute)

2. Incident Management skills:

• Ticket lifecycle management
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Problem identification
• Impact assessment
• Corrective and preventive actions
• Status tracking (Open, Closed, Reverted, Monitoring)

3. Linux / Unix Administration: must

• Restarting services
• Checking logs
• Managing disk space:

Areas of responsibility

Gathering of requirements-Assist in conducting workshops and discussions with client stakeholders to gather business process requirements.

Coding and Configuration-Develop and deliver code for assigned modules, in alignment with client requirements ensuring proper integration with system components.

Testing and Trial Runs-Execute testing for assigned modules, validate functionality across required interactions, and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions.

Implementation-Participate in implementation of software application and its integration with other systems to ensure stability.

Maintain Documentation-Prepare detailed reports and documentation on project specifications, activities, and status, while presenting information using flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, code comments, and clear, well-structured code.

Stakeholder Collaboration-Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand requirements, support development activities, check system compatibility, and ensure solutions meet expected standards.
