Job summary

UST is seeking a Motion Designer in Maharashtra to bring stories, products, brands, and experiences to life through compelling motion design and AI-enabled video creation.

You will craft animations from scratch and leverage AI tools to accelerate ideation, production, and experimentation, while ensuring quality and brand consistency across digital platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Animation, Multimedia, Visual Communication, Film, or relevant work experience.
• 2–4 years of industry experience in motion design, animation, or video production.
• Strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics, animation, video storytelling, and digital content.
• Proficiency in AI-powered creative tools (Runway, Luma, Kling, Veo, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly) and traditional tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder).
• Understanding of animation principles, timing, composition, pacing, and storytelling.
• Experience creating storyboards and video concepts.
• Understanding of video production workflows, rendering, and delivery standards.
• Knowledge of sound design and video editing best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with 3D motion tools such as Cinema 4D or Blender is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and create high-quality motion graphics, animations, explainer and product videos.
• Create storyboards, animatics, and visual narratives to communicate ideas.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to generate, edit, enhance, and optimize video content.
• Collaborate with Product & Visual Designers and Content Writers on integrated experiences.
• Develop visual assets including motion graphics, transitions, animations, kinetic typography, and video compositions.
• Experiment with emerging AI video-generation technologies to improve workflows.
• Ensure quality and brand consistency across all motion deliverables.
• Participate in creative reviews, workshops, and client presentations.
• Stay updated on trends in motion design, AI-assisted content creation, and digital storytelling.
• Meet deadlines while working on projects in teams.
• Adapt motion design solutions to the needs of different brands.

You understand how motion can simplify complexity, evoke emotion, and enhance user engagement across digital platforms.

You are equally comfortable crafting animations from scratch and leveraging AI tools to accelerate ideation, production, and experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Have a robust understanding of motion design principles and their application across digital experiences.
• Conceptualize and create high-quality motion graphics, animations, explainer videos, product videos, and branded content.
• Create storyboards, animatics, and visual narratives that effectively communicate ideas and concepts.
• Leverage AI-powered creative tools to generate, edit, enhance, and optimize video content.
