Job summary

Pyramid E&C is seeking a skilled engineer in Mumbai, India, to establish design criteria and create 3D models of foundations and steel structures. The successful candidate will prepare detailed drawings, ensuring conformity with contract specifications while providing guidance to lower-level design personnel.

Applicants should possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering. Proficiency in AutoCAD and CADWORX is required, alongside strong knowledge of steel and welds.

• Provide guidance to lower-level design personnel.
• Interface with departments, clients, and vendors.

Job description

• Establish design criteria for assigned phase of a project requiring the application of basic engineering principles, material properties, and a familiarity with construction, installation, and maintenance.
• Must be able to take engineers notes to create 3D models of foundations & steel structures for midstream compressor/meter stations.
• Provide conceptual input to projects during the planning stages.
• Prepare detail and layout drawings and sketches of unusual, complex, or original designs.
• Review manufacturers' or fabricators' prints for conformance with contract specification.
• Provide lower-level design/drafting personnel with design sketches for preparation of finished design drawings, general layouts, and guidance in refining technical requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to lower-level design/drafting personnel and review completed assignments for accuracy.
• Regularly interface with other departments, clients, vendors, and project engineer in order to support project production.

Software/System Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, CADWORX, 3D modeling required.

Special Skills:

• Knowledge of steel & welds required.

Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute.
