Job summary

TheWebVale is seeking a Design Systems Designer to architect scalable design systems and govern tokens across our diverse client portfolio. You will design multi-brand systems for clinics, schools, portals, and software businesses, unifying our software through shared libraries and token pipelines.

You will partner with product designers, library engineers, and the founder in two-to-three week release cycles, ensuring tokens stay in sync with code and minimizing design debt to speed delivery.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of digital product design with a strong focus on design systems.
• Expert mastery of Figma features: variables, components, and auto-layout.
• Experience building, maintaining, and scaling production design systems.
• Knowledge of design token taxonomies, naming conventions, and theme switching.
• Solid understanding of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility guidelines and component states.
• Ability to governance rules and communicate updates across teams.

As a Design Systems Designer at TheWebVale, you will build and govern the shared component libraries, tokens, and style guidelines that unify our software.
