Job summary

Schbang in Mumbai is seeking a senior visual designer to lead the design team on client projects, guiding concepts from ideation to final delivery. The role requires 3-4 years of relevant experience and a strong command of Adobe Creative Suite, with multi-disciplinary capabilities across digital, print, 3D graphics, motion, web, and UI/UX.

The 3-month contractual engagement includes coordinating with clients and internal teams and mentoring juniors.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead the design team, manage design projects, and ensure timely delivery of design deliverables.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts, designs, and layouts.

Job description

Experience Required:

• 3-4 years of experience in a relevant field
• The role is a 3 month contratual role for a Project and will require the individual to relocate to the central part of India.

Major Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead the design team, manage design projects, and ensure the timely delivery of design deliverables.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop creative concepts, designs, and layouts.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their business needs and providing design solutions.
• Allocate resources and manage workloads with project managers.
• Provide creative direction and feedback to the design team.
• Ensure that the design output is visually appealing, on-brand, and consistent with the brand tonality.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies in design and advertising.
• Present finalised ideas and concepts to clients or account managers.
• Collaborate with a team of printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, illustrators, other designers, account executives, web developers, and marketing specialists.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of design projects.
• Actively participate in strategy and brainstorming sessions and contribute to ideation and concept development.
• Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance, training and support to help them grow and ensuring they are upskilling
• Creating efficient workflows to ensure a smooth execution
• Being a part of client calls/ meetings and keeping up to speed with their requirements and staying intouch.

Skills Required:

• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Must have multi-disciplinary design skills have a basic understanding of production (including pre-production and post-production), 3D graphics, motion graphics, web, and UI/UX.
• Must have advanced knowledge of Digital and print graphics.
• Effective time management and project management skills.
• Efficiently managing day-to-day design requirements.
• Ability to develop and implement design standards and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects.
