Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and highly creative Design Lead to lead the visual direction of campaigns and brand communication across platforms. The role requires strong conceptual thinking, design expertise, visual storytelling and the ability to translate strategy into distinctive creative work. You will work closely with Copy and Client solutions to develop impactful ideas that deliver for both brands and businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the visual and creative direction across digital, social, branding, campaigns, video and integrated communication.
• Conceptualise and develop strong, distinctive visual ideas from brief to final execution.
• Develop creative concepts for campaigns, brand launches, product communication, social content and digital experiences.
• Lead creative development for pitches and new business opportunities.
• Present and sell creative concepts to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with Copy, Client Servicing and other divisions to ensure seamless execution.
• Guide, mentor and provide constructive feedback to Art Directors, Designers, video editors and the wider creative team.
• Review creative work at key stages and ensure a high standard of craft, consistency and brand alignment.
• Stay updated with design, advertising, digital, social, cultural and emerging AI trends.
• Push the team to challenge conventional thinking and create work that stands out.
• Manage multiple projects while balancing creative quality, timelines and client expectations.
• Collaborate with photographers, video editors, illustrators and other external creative partners when required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience in an advertising, digital or creative agency.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, art direction and integrated campaign work.
• Strong understanding of visual communication, typography, composition, photography, DVCs, digital and social.
• Ability to turn a brief and strategy into compelling visual concepts.
• Experience in pitch/new business assignments and client presentations.
• Strong creative leadership, communication and storytelling skills.
• Ability to connect creative ideas with brand and business objectives.
• Proficiency in relevant design and creative tools, with the ability to guide teams on execution.
• Strong eye for detail, craft and creative excellence.
