Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Reliability Engineer for automotive electronics, sensors, or mechatronics to lead Design for Reliability (DfR) activities across the product development lifecycle.

You will define reliability requirements, strategies, and risk mitigation aligned with customer needs. You will perform reliability analyses (FIT, MTTF/MTBF, Weibull, FMEDA, FTA) and lead HALT/HAST/ALT tests, environmental validation, and data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in reliability engineering for automotive electronics, sensors, or mechatronic products.
• Strong expertise in reliability prediction, testing, validation, and risk assessment.
• Hands-on experience with FIT rate estimation, MTTF/MTBF calculations, and reliability modeling.
• Proficient in Weibull Analysis, FMEDA, FTA, Chi-Square Statistics, and Failure Analysis.
• Experience in reliability validation, accelerated life testing, and product reliability improvement.
• Exposure to automotive product development and Functional Safety is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive Design for Reliability (DfR) activities throughout the product development lifecycle for sensor and electronic products.
