Job summary

Adani Group in Tamil Nadu's Thoothukudi is seeking a Deputy Manager for OE Analytics to drive operational excellence through detailed equipment performance analysis and data-driven improvements.

You will lead RCA efforts, manage instrument budgets, calibrations, MoC follow-ups, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize processes and sustainability initiatives in a heavy industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Educational qualification: BE/B.Tech or equivalent technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in operational excellence or process improvement in manufacturing/plant.
• Experience in petrochemical, manufacturing or heavy industrial sectors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of major plant equipment, utilizing test data to identify performance trends and losses.
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) on operational issues using data-driven approaches and implement checks based on historical data.
• Communicate identified gaps to stakeholders and collaborate on resolution strategies.
• Support resolution of issues based on insights from operational data.
• Manage instrument budgeting, ensuring optimal resource allocation for maintenance and upgrades.
• Manage calibration schedules to maintain accuracy, reliability and availability of major equipment.
• Follow up on MoC approvals and notify O&M teams, updating SAP systems.
• Assist in field operations during annual audits and assessments to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Analyze existing processes and systems to identify enhancements and collaborate to refine procedures with cost optimization.
• Provide analytical support for external audits, administrative tasks, and report assessments.
• Ensure adherence to IMS, AWMS, DISHA and CHETNA guidelines within the department.
• Maintain safety of personnel and equipment through training and safety reviews.
• Implement strategies to minimize environmental impact and promote sustainable practices.
• Digitization and Automation: execute digitization strategies to optimize efficiency.
• Implement automation solutions to support organizational goals/strategy.
