Adani Power Ltd. is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead site activities from initiation to commissioning. The role focuses on safety, quality, and environmental standards while managing budgets and timelines.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, maintaining documentation, and driving continuous improvements in construction methods to enhance efficiency for power projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in civil engineering.
• 8–10 years of progressive civil engineering project management experience in the Power/Energy sector.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, MS Project and related tools.
• Knowledge of national/international construction codes and standards applicable to power projects.
• Experience in contract management, procurement and project cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Site Management: Supervise and coordinate site activities, ensuring safety protocols, construction methods, and environmental standards are strictly followed in alignment with Adani’s safety-first culture.


• Technical Supervision: Review and approve civil engineering drawings, designs, and specifications, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and industry best practices.


• Vendor and Contractor Management: Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure material procurement, resource allocation, and work execution are aligned with project requirements.


• Quality Assurance & Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections to ensure all civil works meet the highest standards of quality and durability.


• Cost Management: Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and monitor expenditures to optimize resource utilization without compromising quality or timelines.


• Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to civil construction activities and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project progression.


• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation including progress reports, compliance records, and technical documentation to facilitate transparency and audit readiness.


• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between project teams, clients, regulatory authorities, and internal departments to foster effective communication and ensure project alignment with organizational goals.


• Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation and process improvements by incorporating lessons learned, adopting new technologies, and enhancing construction methodologies to increase efficiency and sustainability.


• Team Leadership & Development: Mentor junior engineers and site staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and teamwork in line with Adani’s leadership principles.

Education Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree /Diploma in civil engineering from a recognized university or institute.

Experience
