Job summary

Tata Motors Limited is seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to support plant finance and cost control across multiple plants in Maharashtra.

You will consolidate budgets, track costs, assist in capex discussions, and drive cost optimisation for the Supply Chain. Strong SAP knowledge and ERP implementation experience are essential to succeed in this role.

Excellent analytical abilities, communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with internal audit and plant teams are required.

Qualifications

• SAP knowledge is essential with hands-on experience in SAP modules relevant to finance and controlling.
• Experience with ERP systems and digital tools for budgeting and cost control is required.
• Detail oriented and analytical mindset with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support central operating reviews and consolidated plant budgets.
• Track costs at CLT level and drive cost optimisation across plants.
• Assist budgeting, accounting, and cost control activities for plant finance.
• Coordinate warranty activities and support monthly budget reporting.
• Drive CAPEX discussions for supply chain activities and ERP enhancements.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Support in putting Operating review for all plants at central level
• Consolidation of Plant level Budgets and help in appropriate target setting.
• Track cost at CLT level for all the cost items centrally and help drive cost optimisation
• Help in managing budgeting, accounting, cost control for all Plant finance related activities.
• Coordinate with all the Plants on Warranty centrally
• Lead TML budget consolidation process including reporting of numbers on monthly basis
• Drive CLT level performance monitoring and support the team in achieving their numbers.
• Help in driving Capex allocation discussions for Supply Chain related activities
• Help in ERP related enhancements across all Plants/supply chain sites
• Analysis of various cost reduction proposals to enable decision making
• Support material audit team in finalising monthly, quarterly and annual plan
• Work closely with internal audit team and drive closure of IA findings for Supply Chain. Also ensure timely completion of cost audit.
