Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
1. Project Execution & Planning
- Oversee day-to-day civil construction activities at project sites.
- Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQs, and construction schedules.
- Coordinate with Planning, QA/QC, Contracts, Billing, and Store teams for smooth execution.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure timely milestone completion.
2. Quality Control & Compliance
- Ensure implementation of quality standards as per approved QAP and IS codes.
- Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspections, tests, and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with ISO procedures, RERA norms, and statutory requirements.
- Address and close NCRs and quality observations promptly.
3. Cost Control & Resource Management
- Monitor material consumption, wastage, and productivity.
- Ensure execution within approved budgets and cost norms.
- Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of materials and services.
- Optimize manpower, machinery, and subcontractor deployment.
4. Contractor & Vendor Management
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors for civil, finishing, and external works.
- Ensure contractors follow safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
- Review contractor bills, measurements, and certifications.
- Resolve site-level issues and disputes effectively.
5. Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)
- Ensure strict implementation of safety norms at site.
- Promote safe work practices and conduct regular safety meetings.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety audits, and statutory inspections.
- Take corrective actions for unsafe acts and conditions.
6. Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with Architects, Consultants, and PMC for technical clarifications.
- Conduct regular site review meetings and progress discussions.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports (MIS).
- Highlight risks, delays, and corrective action plans to management.
7. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor site engineers, supervisors, and execution teams.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Ensure discipline, productivity, and skill development at site.
Qualification & Experience
Educational Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
Experience
- 15-20 years of overall civil construction experience
- Minimum 57 years in senior execution role
- Mandatory experience in Real Estate / High-rise / Township projects
