Job summary

Summit Lake Data + AI is seeking a seasoned delivery/PM professional to own day‑to‑day client contact, scope, timeline, and change control while leading multi‑stream data/analytics projects with US stakeholders. You will coordinate across time zones, track budgets, and support SOW shaping and renewals.

The role requires strong client communication, agile delivery experience, and the ability to thrive in startup‑like environments while overlapping with US business hours from India.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in delivery / engagement / project management within data, analytics, or software consulting.
• Track record delivering multi-workstream technical projects to external clients (US exposure a plus).
• Strong client-facing English communication and stakeholder management.
• Agile delivery with change control; comfortable with data/AI project shapes.

Responsibilities

Job description

You own delivery cadence, client communication, scope and change control, and commercial hygiene across SLD engagements. Part strategist, part hands‑on PM‑a player‑coach who makes the “tangible at every step” promise real.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Serve as a primary day-to-day client contact; manage US stakeholder expectations and communication.
• Own scope, timeline, risks, dependencies, and change control; protect the increment-by-increment delivery model.
• Coordinate SLD engineers, client SMEs, and Databricks partner resources across time zones.
• Track budget / burn, milestones, and SOW health; support SOW shaping, proposals, and renewals.
• Drive adoption / change management and enablement handoffs.
• Report status to client sponsors and SLD leadership.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• 6+ years in delivery / engagement / project management within data, analytics, or software consulting.
• Track record delivering multi-workstream technical projects to external clients (US-client exposure a strong plus).
• Strong client-facing English communication and stakeholder management.
• Agile delivery plus change control; comfort with data / analytics / AI project shapes.
• Comfort with startup ambiguity and multiple concurrent accounts.
• Based in India and willing to overlap substantially with US business hours.

BONUS POINTS

• Databricks certification preferred, PMP or Agile (CSM/SAFe) a plus.
• Pre-sales, SOW, or commercial experience.
• Experience in a boutique or startup consultancy serving global clients.
