Job summary

EducoHire is seeking a Dean for the CSE/ECE Department based in Medchal, Telangana. The role reports to the Director/Principal and steers strategic leadership, curriculum development, and faculty development for the departments.

The Dean will ensure regulatory compliance, foster research and industry partnerships, and oversee academic administration and institutional governance as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in CSE or ECE from a recognized institution.
• Experience in academic leadership and administration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the CSE/ECE departments.

• Lead faculty recruitment, performance evaluation, mentoring, and development.
• Promote research, innovation, publications, consultancy, and industry collaborations.

Dean – CSE/ECE Department
Location : Medchal,near Kompally, Telangana.
Salary : As per UCG Norms
Reporting to: Director / Principal
Department/Portfolio: As assigned by the Management
The Dean will operate within the authority delegated by the Director/Principal and institutional governance framework.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the CSE/ECE departments.
  
• Oversee academic planning, curriculum development, and implementation.
  
• Lead faculty recruitment, performance evaluation, mentoring, and development.
  
• Promote research, innovation, publications, consultancy, and industry collaborations.
  
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements, including AICTE and NBA, wherever applicable.
  
• Monitor teaching quality, student performance, placements, and overall departmental outcomes.
  
• Develop industry partnerships and encourage internships and placement opportunities for students.
  
• Coordinate with department heads, faculty members, and institutional management.
  
• Support institutional development, academic administration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) from a recognized institution.
  

Experience

• Extensive academic and administrative experience in engineering education.
  
• Prior experience in academic leadership, such as Dean, Director, Principal, or Head of Department, is preferred.
  
• A strong track record in research, publications, faculty development, and institutional administration is desirable.
