Job summary

EY GDS Consulting digital is seeking a Senior Headless CMS Developer with strong experience in Contentful, Contentstack and Strapi. The role focuses on building and delivering modern CMS solutions with strong SEO and web search capabilities.

You will work within the NCLC team delivering for clients across regions. The position requires expertise in Next.js/React, Drupal, API-first integrations, and WCAG 2.x accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create blueprint to deploy Headless CMS on Contentful/Contentstack/Strapi.
• Hands-on Headless CMS development with Next.js/React.
• Develop and integrate Drupal Core CMS applications and web content publishing.
• Frontend integration with API-first approach using CMS platforms.
• Experience with 3rd party integrations including CRM/ERP.
• Develop WCAG 2.x compliant code and ensure accessibility.

Headless CMS Developer - Contentful - Senior

EY GDS Consulting digital, is looking out for experienced headless CMS developer, especially on CMS platforms like Contentful, Contentstack, Strapi etc. Experience with SEO, Web Search. Resource will be part of NCLC team delivering to clients across regions.

The opportunity

We’re looking for resources with expertise in Headless CMS development, implementation, and related technologies to join the group of our NCLC Consulting team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of our service offering.

Your key responsibilities

• Should be able to create a complete blueprint to deploy a modernized Headless CMS on CMS platforms like Contentful, Contentstack, Strapi etc.
• Hands-on expertise in Headless CMS developments with strong competencies in Next.js/React.
• Prior deep experience building, developing and solutioning Drupal applications. Managing and developing Core CMS applications, application with Web Content Management and content publishing for external facing sites
• Hands-on experience with frontend integration using API first approach.
• Experience in multiple 3rd party integrations. Integration with CRM and ERP systems.
• Should have skills to estimate the work required for developing Sitefinity based solutions. Should have
• Experience in server-side development with Next.js
• Expertise in developing code compliant to WCAG 2.x for user accessibility
• Experience with SQL Server, NoSQL Databases such as Mongo is an added advantage.
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery using DEVOPS or similar Tool.

Skills and attributes

• 4+ years of experience in document/record management implementation.
• Exposure in developing and configuring Custom Applications and headless CMS solutions using CMS platforms like Contentful, Contentstack, Strapi etc.
• Experience with Typescript
• Experience with Next.js for server-side rendering and static site generation
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library or Playwright
• Familiarity with source control. E.g. Git
• Understanding of mobile first and modular/component-based development
• Understanding of server-side development with Next.js
• Experience working with task runners and bundlers, such as Gulp/Grunt and Webpack
• Understanding of key website design principles and SEO optimisation
• Understanding of asynchronous code
• Experience developing code compliant to WCAG 2.x for user accessibility
• Good problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have strong analytical and technical skills using variety of tools to deliver client-side solutions.
• Must have technical competency in designing, developing, and debugging solutions.
• Must have technical knowledge and experience in delivering software / platform engineering solutions (depending on specialism), providing technical advice and managing user requirements.
• Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns.
• Mentor and lead technical implementation team of 10+ Software Engineers.
• Passion for the web, open-source development, and for helping us build meaningful experiences
• Experience consulting strongly preferred
• Ability to understand complex business processes and can transform them into programming logic
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A bachelor's or master's degree
• A minimum of 4+ years of experience, preferably background in a professional services firm.
• Strong knowledge of CMS platforms like Drupal, Strapi, Contentful etc.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, Next.js/React JS.
• Excellent communication skills with consulting experience preferred

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products.
• Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
