Job summary

Coforge in India is seeking a Data Engineer to build and maintain scalable data pipelines using DBT and cloud-based tools. You will work with SQL, data modeling (Star/Snowflake), and Python to transform and load data across cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure).

You will collaborate with data teams to ensure data quality, monitor pipelines, and document workflows and mappings. This role targets candidates with hands-on DBT experience and strong SQL skills willing to work in Uttar Pradesh.

Qualifications

• Data Modeling understanding (Star/Snowflake).
• Strong SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience with DBT.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform: GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Composer, GCS) OR AWS/Azure.
• Experience with data transformation and loading technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines. Develop and enhance DBT models and transformations.
• Perform data cleansing, validation, and quality checks. Support cloud-based data engineering workloads (preferably GCP).
• Write optimized SQL queries for analytics and data processing.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Architects for requirement understanding.
• Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data reliability.
• Document workflows, models, and mappings.
