Job summary

JobItUs is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to ensure performance, reliability, security, and availability of on-premise and cloud databases, including SQL Server, Azure SQL, MongoDB and NoSQL. You will monitor, tune and secure data stores across environments.

The role emphasizes automation through PowerShell/CLI Runbooks and DevOps pipelines, with a focus on DR, HA, backups, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of DBA experience with SQL Server, Azure, and MongoDB.
• Experience with automation and CI/CD integration for DB operations.
• Knowledge of cloud security standards and governance.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer SQL Server environments, including backups, DR, HA, performance tuning, and security.
• Manage Azure SQL Databases/Managed Instances with backup, replication, scaling, and cost optimization.
• Maintain MongoDB clusters, backups, upgrades, performance tuning, and security.
• Manage Redis caching and RabbitMQ messaging infrastructure.
• Automate database operations and support application teams with best practices.
