• Comfort engaging with bank and fintech security leads.

About The Role

You will own DataNimbus’s product strategy for security, trust and compliance – what our customers and regulators need from us, what we need to be true about our products, and how we earn the trust of every enterprise that runs critical workflows on our platform. Every enterprise customer asks the same questions before signing: how do you handle our data, what certifications do you hold, who has access to what, what happens if something breaks. You make sure we have the right posture, the right documentation, and the right product capabilities to clear those gates.

What Do We Want You To Do

• Customer and regulator requirements product
• Translate enterprise customer security requirements into product requirements that engineering can act on
• Translate regulatory frameworks into product priorities
• Partner with product and engineering leadership to sequence and ship those requirements
• Compliance posture and certifications
• Own the roadmap toward SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and PCI‑DSS readiness
• Drive the audit cycle, manage external auditor relationships, sign off on remediation plans
• Maintain a single source of truth for our certifications, attestations and customer‑facing posture.
• Customer‑facing trust narrative
• Build and own the customer‑facing security and trust story – datasheets, certifications page, trust center.
• Manage the security‑questionnaire response process – answer in days, not weeks.
• Be the named security/trust point of contact for customer security teams during diligence and renewals.
• Data governance and privacy (product surface)
• Define data classification, retention, access and encryption requirements at the product level
• Own privacy and data‑handling commitments to customers
• Partner with legal on DPAs and customer commitments
• Cross‑functional partnership
• Partner with engineering (architecture + implementation), legal (contracts + privacy), sales (enterprise diligence) and customer success (renewals + audits)
• Translate between customer language ("can you handle our data?") and engineering language ("here’s our data flow + access‑control model")

What Would Help Make Your Case

• 5+ years in product management, compliance, or trust/security roles at a B2B fintech, SaaS, payments or regulated infrastructure company
• Direct experience with one or more of: SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI‑DSS, GDPR, RBI, HIPAA having taken a product through certification or audit
• Strong product instincts – you can take a regulator’s framework or a customer’s security questionnaire and translate it into a product roadmap that engineering can act on
• Customer‑facing comfort – you can sit across from a bank CISO or fintech compliance lead and hold the conversation
• Someone who can challenge systems, identify risks proactively, and recommend practical security improvements.
• A security expert who can balance innovation, scalability, and compliance.
• A proactive individual who can work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Someone who stays updated with evolving cybersecurity threats, technologies, and best practices.
• A strategic thinker with strong technical depth and business understanding.
