Luxoft, part of the DXC-Luxoft group, seeks an experienced Databricks Architect in India to lead data-driven, scalable solutions across automotive platforms. You will design end-to-end Databricks architectures including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog and AI/LLM integrations, collaborating with international teams.

Expect to drive architectural standards, collaborate with data science & engineering, and deliver governance, CI/CD pipelines, and cost-aware implementations on Azure Databricks.

Formación

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of Azure Databricks platform components.
• Proven architecture experience with Lakehouse/medallion models.
• Experience delivering AI/ML or LLM-based solutions on Databricks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to document architecture and guide teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead data-driven initiatives across customer projects with architectural guidance.
• Develop and implement Databricks-based solutions addressing project needs.
• Own end-to-end Databricks solution architecture across integration, ingestion, transformation, governance, serving and ops.
• Establish engineering standards: CI/CD, IaC, testing, data quality and observability.
• Collaborate with data science/AI teams on AI-powered workflows and tools.
• Provide pre-sales support with architecture proposals and estimates.

Responsibilities

• - Lead data driven initiatives across customer projects by providing architecture guidance and technical leadership.- Develop a deep understanding of customer environment, develop and implement solutions on Databricks platform to address existing project’s needs.- Own the end-to-end Databricks solution architecture across integration, ingestion, transformation, governance, serving, reporting and operations.- Establish engineering standards: medallion architecture, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Databricks Asset Bundles, testing, data quality and observability.- Document architecture through ADRs, design guidelines and run design and code reviews.- Partner with Data science/AI team on AI-powered solutions, LLM-based tooling and agentic workflows.- Optimize performance and costs, give customer transparent cost guidance.- Support pre-sales activities by creating solution concepts, architecture proposals, estimates and technical presentations.- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

SKILLS

Must have

• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• Deep hands-on knowledge of the Azure Databricks platform: Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Lakeflow (Connect, Declarative Pipelines, Jobs), Auto Loader, SQL Warehouses and serverless compute
• Proven experience designing and implementing Lakehouse / medallion architecture as an enterprise standard
• Knowledge of Databricks Apps, AI/BI Dashboards, Genie One, Lakebase and Agents
• Proficiency in Databricks SQL, Python
• Ability to explain pros and cons of Databricks compared with other solutions
• Experience in setting up a Databricks environment in Azure and producing decent documentation
• Eager to learn, good communication and collaboration skills
• Strong focus on business needs and willingness to understand and to solve Customer problems
• Experience designing and delivering AI/ML or LLM-based solutions on Azure Databricks
• Experience with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agent-based integrations

Nice to have

• Experience in Automotive engineering
• Ability to write clean, maintainable and testable code
• Databricks certification
