Job summary

Coforge in Pune is seeking a Databricks Technical Lead to architect and deliver enterprise data platforms for Commercial Property & Specialty Insurance. You will combine Databricks, Spark, and modern lakehouse patterns with insurance domain knowledge to drive scalable solutions across underwriting, policy administration, claims, and risk reporting.

Lead data engineering efforts, guide cloud and platform architecture, and engage stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Databricks and Spark for large-scale data platforms.
• Strong SQL, Python, and data modeling capabilities.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Microsoft Fabric ecosystems.
• Knowledge of Delta Lake and data governance.
• Understanding of modern lakehouse architecture patterns.
• Familiarity with insurance domain functions is a plus.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Databricks Technical Lead to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise-scale data platforms supporting Commercial Property & Casualty and Specialty Insurance operations. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in Databricks, Spark, Cloud Data Platforms, and Modern Lakehouse Architecture with strong business knowledge across key insurance functions including Underwriting, Policy Administration, Claims, Reinsurance, Actuarial, Risk Management, and Regulatory Reporting.
