Job summary

Datazymes Analytics is seeking a Databricks Architect to own platform strategy and drive cost-efficient architecture across engineering, governance, and the GenAI/agentic layer.

You will lead Databricks platform initiatives, optimize DBU/FinOps, and shape internal accelerators through targeted POCs, while advising on architecture and partner conversations.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years in data engineering/platform architecture with strong Databricks expertise.
• Active Databricks Professional-level certification.
• Hands-on with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, DLT, Auto Loader, Databricks SQL, Workflows.
• Experience with Mosaic AI, MLflow, agent frameworks.
• Exposure to multi-cloud Databricks (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Track record of POCs influencing build decisions; thought leadership a plus.
