Job summary

Iris Software in India is seeking a qualified Database developer to design, test, improve, and maintain enterprise-grade databases and processes to manage large amounts of information effectively for users. You will design stable database objects, optimize legacy systems, ensure security and monitoring, and develop technical manuals while collaborating with front-end developers to meet user requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Database developer.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL.
• Exceptional critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities.
• In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring).
• Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications.
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server Services is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and organization skills.
• An ability to understand front-end user requirements and a problem-solving attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Degree in information technology, computer science, or an adjacent field.
• Certificate in Database Development is strongly advantageous.
• 5+ years Engineering of Enterprise grade Database systems such as SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle, or DB2
