Job summary

Innovature in India is seeking a Database Developer/Engineer to design and optimize scalable database systems. You will build ETL workflows with SSIS, develop complex stored procedures, and create SSRS reports while ensuring data integrity and security.

You will collaborate with developers and project managers to align data solutions with business needs, manage backups, and stay updated on cloud DB services and performance tuning practices.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Database Developer or Database Engineer.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL development.
• Experience with SSIS and SSRS.
• Expertise in writing and optimizing stored procedures, triggers, functions, and queries.
• Solid understanding of database design principles, normalization, and data modeling.
• Experience with performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
• Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with ETL development and data pipeline management.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, GitHub, or GitLab).
• Good understanding of database security, encryption, and backup/recovery processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS/Redshift/Azure SQL/GCP Cloud SQL/Big Query)
