Responsibilities:

Architect and implement high-performance, scalable MySQL database solutions.

Manage day-to-day database operations including configuration, backups, restores, and performance tuning.

Conduct regular performance testing, troubleshooting, and fine-tuning for database efficiency.

Analyze and optimize database performance, including tuning queries, indexes, and configurations.

Monitor system health and database performance, identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks.

Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Respond to database-related incidents and provide troubleshooting support to minimize downtime.

Perform root cause analysis for critical database issues and suggest solutions to prevent future occurrences.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of database architecture, procedures, and best practices.

Provide regular reports on database performance and system capacity to management.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

6+ years of hands-on experience working with MySQL databases, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning. Must have worked on MySQL in the AWS environment.

Hands on experience in Redis

Strong understanding of relational database concepts and SQL.

Experience with database design, optimization, and troubleshooting.

Familiarity with backup, restore, and disaster recovery methodologies.
