Job summary

Leuwint Technologies in Pune, India is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to install, configure, and maintain Oracle and MS SQL Server databases supporting the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. You will manage deployments, migrations, backups, and performance tuning in multi-environment setups.

Ideal candidates have strong SQL skills, experience with RMAN/Data Pump, and familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows Server, plus exposure to cloud databases (AWS/Azure).

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Oracle and/or MS SQL Server administration.
• Hands-on with Oracle 12c/19c+ and SQL Server 2019/2022+.
• Proficient in SQL tuning and performance analysis.
• Experience with RMAN, Data Pump and backup/recovery.
• Experience across Linux/Unix and Windows Server environments.
• Familiar with cloud databases (AWS/Azure).
• Knowledge of automation tools and capacity planning.
• Understanding of application servers, web servers, LDAP and networking.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, patch and upgrade Oracle and SQL Server databases for the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform.
• Handle database deployment, migration, refresh, cloning, backup and recovery across environments.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, locking, deadlocks, CPU, memory and I/O issues.
• Perform SQL tuning, execution plan analysis, and wait-event analysis.
• Manage tablespaces, datafiles, redo logs, and database storage.
• Support large migrations using RMAN, Data Pump and other tools.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Application and Customer teams to resolve platform issues.
• Contribute to database best practices and automation.

Job description

• Install, configure, administer, patch and upgrade Oracle / MS SQL Server databases supporting the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform.
• Handle database deployment, migration, refresh, cloning, backup and recovery activities across environments.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, locking/blocking, deadlocks, CPU, memory and I/O issues.
• Perform SQL tuning, execution plan, AWR/ASH and wait-event analysis.
• Manage tablespaces, datafiles, TEMP/UNDO, redo logs, indexes and database storage.
• Support large database migrations using RMAN, Data Pump, TTS and other migration tools.
• Support Oracle RAC/Data Guard and SQL Server Always On where applicable.
• Validate database sizing, capacity, configuration and technical prerequisites.
• Work with Infrastructure, Application and Customer teams to resolve end-to-end platform issues.
• Contribute to database best practices, automation and reusable troubleshooting solutions.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong experience in Oracle and/or MS SQL Server administration.
• Oracle 12c/19c+ and/or SQL Server 2019/2022+.
• Strong SQL and database performance tuning skills.
• Knowledge of RMAN, Data Pump, backup/recovery and database migration.
• Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows Server.
• Basic knowledge of AWS/Azure cloud databases and database monitoring tools.
• Good understanding of capacity planning and resource utilization.
• Knowledge of automation tools is an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of application servers, web servers, load balancers, LDAP and networking is a plus.
