Rarr Technologies in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Data Testing Engineer to validate ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouse integrity, and API reliability. The role emphasizes Python-based automation and strong SQL data validation to ensure overall data quality.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Playwright, Postman, and modern test-management tools, working closely with data engineering and development teams in an agile environment.

We are seeking an experienced Data Testing Engineer with expertise in ETL/ELT testing, data warehouse testing, API testing, and Python-based test automation. The role focuses on validating data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, and testing APIs and data-driven applications.

Important: This role requires experience in ETL/ELT testing, API testing, and Python-based automation. Java- or Selenium-only automation experience does not meet the requirement.

Mandatory Skills

• ETL/ELT and data warehouse testing

• Test automation using Python, preferably with Playwright
• Good proficiency in Python programming

Primary Skills

• ETL/ELT, database, and data warehouse testing
• Python / Playwright test automation
• API testing using Postman / Rest Assured
• Basic knowledge of Kafka

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ETL/ELT and data warehouse testing to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Validate data pipelines, transformations, and data integrity using SQL.
• Design and execute API test cases.

• Perform manual and database testing as required.
• Identify, report, and track defects using JIRA or similar tools.

Should have strong experience in ETL Testing and SQL, along with expertise in at least one or more of the following technology combinations:
