Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks a Data Technology Consultant to lead and design large-scale data-driven solutions that align with business goals and data strategies. You will drive data strategies, product development and deliver high-value outcomes for clients.

The role requires 15+ years in data, with 5+ years as a Data Consultant, and expertise across data modeling, governance, cloud platforms, and modern data warehouses such as Databricks, Snowflake or BigQuery.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in the data domain with 5+ years as a Data Consultant.
• Retail analytics background including demand forecasting and supply chain analytics.
• Expertise in data products, data modeling and technical design.
• Understanding of data governance and data architecture concepts.
• Exposure to requirements engineering, solution architecture and systems development.
• Knowledge of data and analytics platform architectures, data warehousing and data management.
• Ability to design, deploy, troubleshoot and re-platform distributed systems on premises and in the cloud.
• Familiarity with architecture design processes including quality attributes, technology selection and estimation.
• Competency with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Background in data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake or BigQuery.
• Skills in Python and SQL.
• Proficiency with BI analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.

• Define enterprise data strategy and roadmap for BFSI/Retail clients.
• Conduct data maturity assessments and architecture reviews.
