Job summary

PradeepIT Consulting Services Pvt Ltd in Bangalore is seeking a data support engineer with 7–11 years of experience to join a 24x7 production support team for data engineering workloads.

The role focuses on AWS Glue, ETL, batch jobs, data pipelines, and monitoring using Redwood Scheduler, AWS, and Azure. Strong communication and leadership for on-call incidents are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 24X7 Production Support for all Data Engineering Technology applications jobs and processes.
• Solid understanding of data pipelines and transforms and step functions in AWS Glue.
• Monitoring of all application jobs and processes in Redwood Scheduler, AWS, Azure.
• Lead a group of engineers working 24X7 Troubleshooting and resolving all failures.
• Proactive identification of pipeline failures and ability to quickly analyze root causes.
• Batch Job/Report performance monitoring and optimization.
• Incident creation, triaging, and resolution.
• Proactive communication of issues and job/process delays.
• Post-patching application validation.
• Manage and maintain Knowledge DB/Repository and runbooks.
• Regression testing/job execution in a non-prod environment (e.g., application upgrade testing).
• Post-incident analysis and problem ticket creation and management.
• Provide evidence about Production processes as per requirements of Audit.
• Support DR/BCP activities.
• Identification of improvement areas and propose solutions.

Responsibilities

• 24X7 Production Support for data engineering jobs and processes.
• Monitor and optimize data pipelines and scheduled tasks.
• Coordinate incident triage, root-cause analysis, and resolution.
• Lead 24x7 on-call engineering teams during outages.
• Maintain Runbooks, knowledge base, and post-incident reports.
• Perform regression testing in non-prod environments.
• Assist with DR/BCP readiness and audits.

Need a Data support candidate who is good in AWS, Glue, ETL, batch jobs, data pipeline.

Communication and articulation need to be really good.

Experience Level: 7-11 years

Duration: 6+ months

Location: Bangalore only

• 24X7 Production Support for all Data Engineering Technology applications jobs and processes which includes:
• Solid understanding of data pipelines and transforms and step functions in AWS Glue
• Monitoring of all application jobs and processes in Redwood Scheduler, AWS, Azure
• Lead a group of engineers working 24X7 Troubleshooting and resolving all failures Proactively identified pipeline failures and had ability to quickly analyze the root cause of such issues
• Batch Job/Report Performance monitoring and optimization
• Incident creation, triaging, and resolution.
• Proactive communication of issues and job/process delays Drive P1/P2 incident calls by triaging the issues and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in order to resolve the issue Sense of ownership and accountability for tasks
• Post-patching application validation
• Manage and maintain Knowledge DB/Repository and runbooks.
• Regression testing/job execution in a non-prod environment (ex: application upgrade testing)
• Post-incident analysis and problem ticket creation and management.
• Provide evidence about Production processes as per required by Audit.
• Support DR / BCP activities

• Required technical skillset:
• Redwood or any similar job scheduling tool.
